Activity Description: Participation in the Joint Commission Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) initiative.
Note: For a group, the 50% rule can be satisfied by different clinicians completing different OPPE metrics in different windows, as long as each individual completed theirs within the performance year.
Remember the ground rules: generally at least 90 consecutive days unless the activity specifies otherwise. For group attestation, at least 50% of the clinicians must perform the same activity, but their periods do not need to overlap. Retain documentation for six years after submission.
