Get structured information.
Capture AI combines optical character recognition with large language models configured for your facility’s documents. It extracts information such as policy numbers, subscriber IDs, authorization codes, and guarantor details into structured fields in Graphium’s shared data model, alongside the original image.
When an ADT feed is unavailable or cost-prohibitive, Capture AI provides another way to capture the information your team needs.

Capture AI can extract information from completed handwritten anesthesia records and populate the corresponding structured fields in Graphium, while retaining the original image with the record.
When a network outage requires documentation on paper, Capture AI helps bring that information into the digital chart after connectivity is restored.
From extraction to billing.
Extracted face sheet information is included in the structured billing export file and imported into your revenue cycle management (RCM) software. The original face sheet image is also included in the nightly delivery.
The billing software checks the identifying information. In our experience, it passes those checks about 90% of the time. When a correction is needed, billing staff can review the original image and fix an extraction error, such as a letter O read as a zero or a B read as an eight, rather than entering the information from scratch.
How does Capture AI improve for our facility?
We use extraction errors to refine the instructions Capture AI uses for your facility’s documents. For example, those instructions can identify where patient information appears on the page or explain that a field labeled “account number” contains the policy number.
How is patient information handled during AI processing?
Capture AI uses models hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). We have business associate agreements with our downstream vendors and a no-data-retention agreement with AWS for AI processing. Graphium retains the extracted information and original document image with the record.
Is there an additional charge for Capture AI?
Capture AI has an additional per-case fee and can cost less than a paid ADT feed.
